Communication is going to be a big part of our service while we work together. We believe effective communication not only reflects our professionalism but also reduces delays and confusion.
How you may communicate with us
You may choose one of the followings to communicate with us:
- Email,
- Telephone calls including voice messages,
- Videoconferencing,
- Lettermail/courier, and
- In-person meetings.
We understand some of you may prefer social media (e.g. WhatsApp, Wechat, etc.) for communication. Please note that social media is not secure for the purpose of legal action. It is also difficult to maintain a record of communication for your case. Therefore, we recommend that you do not use social media as a way of communication.
How we may communicate with you
Our primary correspondence is email. You shall provide us with a valid and secured email address for communication.
We may call you only when one of the following circumstances applies:
- You do not respond to our emails within a reasonable amount of time, or
- Any other urgent situations.
In-person meetings may be necessary when
- We collect your signatures,
- You swear affidavits/oaths/declaration,
- We notarize a supporting document, or
- Other situations where an in-person meeting is more appropriate.
Turnaround time for our response
We generally will respond to your correspondence within 24 hours on business days.
If your matter is urgent and requires our immediate attention, either within or out of our business hours, we will expedite your inquiry. However, an additional fee may apply.
Return and Delivery of Physical Documents
If your application requires physical supporting documents, you may deliver them by courier or in-person. Please DO NOT send supporting documents by letter mail.
If we return your supporting documents, files, and other physical documents, you will send them by courier unless you pick them up from our office.
Language in communication
You may communicate with us in either English or Simplified Mandarin. If you do not specify, our communication to you will be in English. Please note that we do not provide translation services.
Records of communication
We maintain records of all communication between you and us. You have access to those records at any time.
